Child care providers (caregivers) who use this site should be aware that these standards are based on nationally recognized and researched safeguards that will help prevent accidents and illness and promote physical health and well being. Many states do require some or many of these standards. We encourage all caregivers to achieve them even if their state licensing rules don’t require them.
One last thought – remember your child’s health care provider is your best source for health and medical advice for any specific health issues, illnesses or medical problems that your child is having.
